For this project, my brother and I teamed up to bring USWE’s new Bikepacking Collection to life. Over two intense shooting days with a small team in Almería – a rugged, sun-baked desert in southern Spain – we captured the essence of long-distance freedom and minimalist adventure.
Armed with the DJI Ronin 4D for crisp, cinematic movement and a Super 8 camera for that timeless analog grit, we blended modern precision with a touch of nostalgia. Every scene was shaped by the harsh light, open landscapes, and the rhythm of the ride.
From concept to final cut, the project was a tight, two-man effort – fast, focused, and in sync. The result is a film that feels expansive yet intimate, carrying the dust, heat, and spirit of bikepacking in its every frame.
Two days, two wheels, and a desert that never ends.
Alongside the main film, we produced several cutdowns for social media – tailored to different formats and platforms. Here are two examples in the standard aspect ratio.
